171 Cedar Arts Center
Since first opening the Bruce House doors in 1968, 171 Cedar Arts Center has provided the community with a warm, friendly home in which to explore the arts.  Over the years, with help from our supporters and our outstanding faculty we’ve grown into an award-winning organization that provides top-quality programming and instruction.  But, along the way, we have preserved a distinct, hometown flavor that makes access to the arts comfortable for everyone. 

The Arts Center Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts  is a multi-disciplinary arts center, serving over 2,000 square miles of the Adirondack Park. The Arts Center serves as a presenter, producer and educator in the artistic disciplines of visual arts, theater, music, dance, and film throughout the Adirondack region.

Arts Alliance of Haverstraw

Headquartered in a historic redbrick firehouse, this gallery and arts center regularly exhibits the work of local and national artists.

Arts Center of the Capital Region
Over the course of its nearly 50-year history, The Arts Center of the Capital Region has carved out a distinctive - and deeply personal - role among the region's thriving cultural institutions, as a unique venue that provides thousands of adults and children each year with hands-on, up-close encounters with their own creativity and previously untapped talents. Today, The Arts Center provides a wide range of programs and services to more than 35,000 people a year.  And that's just for starters.



Arts Guild of Old Forge
The Arts Center/Old Forge is dedicated to making the visual and performing arts an integral and accessible part of the lives of residents and visitors of the Adirondacks, inspired by and reflecting the beauty of our natural environment.

Arts Society of Kingston
ASK is home to many performances including plays, musicals, acoustic open mics, music performances, poetry readings and much more. The Playwrights' Lab, a workshop for plays in progress, is a mainstay of ASK performances and has hosted ASK Playwrights' Lab Summer Festival of Staged Readings.

 

Bronx River Art Center
Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) is a culturally diverse, multi-arts, non-profit organization that provides a forum for community, artists, and youth to transform creativity into vision. Our Education, Exhibitions, Artist Studios, and Presenting Programs cultivate leadership in an urban environment and stewardship of our natural resource undefined the Bronx River.

Brooklyn Arts Exchange
Those who have walked through our red doors know that we are a vibrant, welcoming environment where children learn, artists create and everyone is valued. Alumni, faculty, current and former resident artists provide a striking curatorial dynamism for our 20th season. They have pulled from their experiences and interests at and beyond BAX. As a group they represent our past, our present and our future. We invite you to visit our space, watch artists of all ages at work performing, creating, teaching, learning.

 

Carnegie Art Center
Carnegie Art Center is a catalyst for cultural, economic and community development. A multi-disciplinary arts space, it challenges the community with exhibitions of contemporary art, engages children and adults with vibrant art and dance classes, develops professional workshops for artists and organizations, and supports regional cultural tourism efforts. It was originally built in 1904 as the City of North Tonawanda’s public library, funded by philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie.

 

Catskill Art Society
The Catskill Art Society is a non-profit cultivating public interest, participation, and enjoyment of the arts. Through its multi-arts center, CAS explores contemporary art practices and facilitates creative and professional development for established and emerging artists.

 

Center for Creative Education
The mission of the Center for Creative Education is to create a better world by nurturing and empowering youth and community through the arts.

 

Center for the Arts of Homer
Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for the people of Central New York by engaging them in a broad offering of arts, education and entertainment that preserves and enriches the local culture, and provides stewardship for a historically significant site.

 

Centro Civico of Amsterdam, Inc.
Centro Civico of Amsterdam, Inc. a Latino not-for-profit organization in Montgomery County with the capacity to administer funds, deliver vital services, housing initiatives, and community economic development to the Latino community.

 

Chocolate Factory
The Chocolate Factory values the process of creation and the spirit of experimentation. The work of our founding artists and our dedication to supporting the creation of new work by Visiting Artists bears this out. theater et al, the company from which The Chocolate Factory emerged, was for many years an itinerant producing organization, renting theaters and rehearsal spaces by the hour. The Factory was founded in part to alleviate many of the challenges - lack of affordable space, lack of adequate time for creative and technical rehearsals, expensive technical equipment - typical of independent theater production in New York.

 

Community Folk Art Center
Community Folk Art Center, Inc. (CFAC), is a vibrant cultural and artistic hub committed to the promotion and development of artists of the African Diaspora. The mission of the center is to exalt cultural and artistic pluralism by collecting, exhibiting, teaching and interpreting the visual and performing arts. Public programming includes exhibitions, film screenings, gallery talks, workshops and courses in the studio, performing and expressive arts.


Community School of Music and Arts
When describing CSMA and its mission, one must look at its philosophy, a deep belief that the arts are an intimate part of human nature, and that instruction in music, dance, theater and art should be made available to any community member who desires to learn. CSMA commits its resources to students and faculty, and to the larger group of artists in the Ithaca community. The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) is more than a place where students of all ages receive quality instruction in music, dance, theatre and the visual arts. At CSMA the emphasis is on learning, exploration and discovery.


 

Earlville Opera House
The Earlville Opera House Arts Center houses a beautiful historic theater, two art galleries, an arts cafe, and an artisan gift shop.  Musicians and audiences alike enjoy the perfect acoustics of the Historic Landmark theater. A marvelous example of turn-of-the-century architecture, the charming stenciling, ornate pressed tin ceiling, and beautiful proscenium stage make the 1892 theater a living testament to the history of this area of New York State. 

 

East End Arts Council
Located in the historic Davis-Corwin (circa 1840) and Benjamin homes (circa 1850) on East Main Street in Riverhead, the Arts Council operates an art gallery and gift shop, as well as the region's only Community School of the Arts. There is a new exhibit every four to six weeks, featuring both well-known and yet-to-be-discovered artists. In the gift shop you can purchase the original work of local craftspeople, as well as hand-pulled prints, original etchings, fine art posters and novelty items. The Arts Council also presents music, dance and theatre at various locations all over the East End.

  Edward Hopper House Art Center
Today's Edward Hopper House is a non-profit multi-arts center, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The ground floor is a vibrant exhibition space featuring the work of emerging and established artists and the upstairs rooms are private artist studios.  In addition to a busy gallery schedule, there are classes and workshops for adults and children, summer jazz concerts in the garden, songwriting and poetry groups, weekly figure drawing sessions, lectures, and special events.

 

Garrison Art Center
Garrison Art Center opens the door to artistic inquiry and expression. GAC expands artists' vision and fosters creative ideas and appreciation of the arts in our community.

 

Great Neck Arts Center
A vital Long Island institution for over fifteen years, is now recognized as a premiere venue for art, music, dance, drama, film and literature. Our School for the Arts, an affiliate of the Kennedy Center “Partners in Education” in Washington DC, offers classes and programs for adults and children. Students are instructed by world-class artists and teachers who utilize the latest educational strategies and tools.

High Meadow Arts is a multi-arts venue where young people and adults of all ages create things of beauty. Community members study drama, singing, modern dance, music composition, visual arts, video production, and media throughout the year, during school, after-school, and over the summer.


Hubbard Hall Projects
"Making art and community happen in an 1878 rural opera house"Hubbard Hall Projects (HHP) is an arts center supporting creativity and inviting participation to make art and community happen.  We strive to enrich the lives of individuals and communities, and offer valuable pathways to learning through the arts.  HHP intends that its programs promote and serve as a magnet for artistic activity.

 

Hudson Opera House
The Hudson Opera House offers a year-round schedule of arts and cultural programming including concerts, readings, lectures, exhibitions, theatre and dance presentations, after-school programs, workshops, classes, and community arts events like the annual Winter Walk on Warren Street.

Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning
Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL) is a non-profit organization that offers visual, performing and literary arts, arts education and artist programs to encourage participation in the arts and to contribute to the cultural enrichment of Queens and the Greater Metropolitan area.

 

Kenan Center
It is the purpose of the Kenan Center to provide, promote and support integrated and comprehensive cultural and recreational programs to the community. This is accomplished by developing and enlarging individual appreciation and understanding of history, science, religion, and the arts; and by encouraging an appreciation of our heritage and the understanding of its relevance to life as a whole.

Kirkland Art Center
The Kirkland Art Center is an active, regional, multi-arts center, located in an old church, barn and connecting addition, on the village green in Clinton, NY.


Lake George Arts Project
The Lake George Arts Project was established in 1977 to offer comprehensive programs in the arts. Its mission is to provide exposure and income opportunities to professional and emerging artists, and to provide quality arts programming for the residents and visitors of the Lake George region.

 

Lake Placid Center for the Arts
he Lake Placid Center for the Arts is a year-round performing and visual Arts Facility. Located in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York, the LPCA consistently presents arts of the highest caliber in music, dance and theatre performances, film exhibitions and visual arts presentations.


Lewiston Council on the Arts
Lewiston Council on the Arts brings creative talent and public appreciation together to create an artistic identity for the beautiful and historic Village of Lewiston.
Located in Upstate New York along the shore of the Niagara River, our proximity to Canada encourages the bi-national interchange of artists and performers and contributes to the abundant cultural richness of the Niagara region.

Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council
LARAC was formed in 1972 by a coalition of arts-minded residents, to unify the arts and cultural community and establish a cultural identity.  Each year LARAC expands programs and services, evolving in response to community needs.

 

Mill Street Loft
Mill Street Loft is a multi-arts educational center based in downtown Poughkeepsie serving thousands of Hudson Valley residents and their families.

Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts
Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts is an organization dedicated to promote and facilitate all aspects of the visual & performing arts. The MVCA assumes the responsibility of leadership & advocacy for these arts through education, promoting interest, understanding & thereby, advancing appreciation of the arts.

Niagara Arts and Cultural Center
The NACC is home to more than 75 artists and arts groups.  It is the largest multi-arts center in up-state New York. Along with the artist studios, the NACC is home to two art galleries, two theaters, the Niagara Falls High School alumni center, and the NACC Artisan Café and Gift Shop.

Pelham Art Center
Pelham Art Center's mission is to provide the public with a place, the resources and the opportunity to see, study, and experience the arts in a community setting. Currently serving more than 16,000 adults and children in Westchester County and parts of the Bronx by offering high-quality free and affordable art programs year round, Pelham Art Center is committed to the belief that the public’s access to and participation in the arts strengthens communities and fosters life long engagement in the arts.

 

Phelps Arts Center

  • Currently a 100% volunteer organization, the Arts Center was established to: provide artists and art lovers an appropriate space, on a temporary basis;
  • for the public display of their works and/or collections of objects that are of artistic nature;
  • provide interactive workshops, classes, lectures, etc. to a public interested in developing their knowledge, enjoyment and skills in the “hands-on” arts.

Roxbury Arts Group
The Roxbury Arts Group (RAG) serves all of Delaware County by providing a wide variety of arts, entertainment and education at three separate venues, located in Roxbury, Stamford and the Denver Vega Valley.
We offer live entertainment, concerts, dance, theatre, fine arts exhibitions, workshops, and arts programming for children and youth.

 

Rye Arts Center
The Rye Arts Center is a community-based, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to inspire interest and maximum participation in the arts in Westchester and the surrounding region. We are committed to offering programs that are characterized by artistic tradition, educational value, and a spirit of innovation.

 

Sand Lake Center for the Arts Circle Theatre Players
Sand Lake Center for the Arts - Circle Theatre Players, is a not for profit community arts center. The Center is a renovated, historically significant 1835 church with a fully equipped open performing space for theatrical productions, community meetings, concerts, workshops and classes; and is available for rent.

 

Saratoga County Arts Council
Founded in 1986 by and for artists and audiences, Saratoga Arts is a non-profit arts service organization dedicated to developing and promoting a thriving year-round cultural environment in Saratoga-area communities. Since 1997, Saratoga Arts has renovated and operated The Arts Center at the corner of Broadway and Spring Street in Saratoga Springs. Here we welcome viewers to exciting art exhibits, stimulates students of all ages and skill levels in a wide variety of art classes and workshops, hosts thrilling public performances, and coordinates many programs that bring the arts to every corner of Saratoga

Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center
The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center is a multi arts facility, located in Auburn, New York situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We offer a series of 5 changing exhibitions each year, art classes for kids & adults, quilting & fiber arts workshops, multi-arts programs including music, film, folk arts, poetry, storytelling and much more along with a unique gift shop.

 

Spencertown Academy Arts Center
The Spencertown Academy Arts Center is  located in Spencertown, N.Y., a tiny village set in the rural countryside of Columbia County in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. In its lovely 1840's Greek Revival schoolhouse, the Academy presents concerts, readings, and fine art  exhibits as well as arts-related workshops and classes.

Springville Center for the Arts
Springville Center for the Arts is a community multi-arts center located in Springville, NY. Over the course of a year we program community theater productions, artist exhibits and receptions, cinema programs, workshops for adults and kids, performances and more.

 

St. Lawrence County Arts Council
The St. Lawrence County Arts Council works to develop and promote all areas of the Arts in Northern New York.
Located in Potsdam, NY, our gift shop and gallery features work by more than 275 artists, authors, and musicians. We offer arts classes for all ages in our growing studio classrooms, and we travel around the region to provide consulting and professional development workshops for artists and arts organizations.
Throughout the year we offer a variety of music events, literary presentations, arts festivals, and our annual studio tour. We also work as an advocate for public and private support for the arts in all forms.

Thousand Islands Arts Center and Handweaving Museum
The Thousand Islands Arts Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional arts and handcrafts through educational programs, classes, lectures, exhibits and by maintaining a library and a permanent textile collection.

 

Tri County Arts Council
The Tri-County Arts Council (formerly Schoharie County Arts Council) serves Fulton, Montgomery and Schoharie counties in New York State.  We encourage and promote the work of emerging and established artists, administer grant programs and present a wide variety of arts programming for diverse audiences.

 

Unison Arts and Learning Center
Unison Arts Center is a non-profit arts center offering performance and visual arts programming, personal growth workshops and recreational, arts and educational activities for children and families. Founded in 1975, Unison is located on 16 acres at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountains in the Town of New Paltz, New York.

Since then Unison has become an important venue for artists, crafts people and educators, and presents more than 30 performances, 50 workshops and 8 gallery exhibitions each year. Unison publishes 12,000 program guides twice a year which are distributed to our mailing list, business and hospitality drop sites.

 

Upper Catskill Community Council of Arts
Our mission is to create a cultural, educational, social and economic environment in which the arts can flourish, to enrich life in the Upper Catskills through the arts, and to preserve the cultural heritage of the Upper Catskills.

West Kortright Centre
The West Kortright Centre is primarily known for its performing arts series presented in the 200-seat former church sanctuary.
The Centre also offers youth and adult workshops in acting, costuming, and technical theater, music and dance, visual arts, and writing. Theater programs range from staged plays and readings to the annual Young People’s Theater Arts Workshops and Shakespeare in the Valley productions, now in their 23rd year.

Yates County Arts Center
Enriching the quality of life for Finger Lakes residents, artists and visitors by providing opportunities for active participation in the arts.
